CES 2016 was rather boring

We’d not posted in January, none of the CES 2016 news really excited us, well except maybe the Yuneec Typhoon H, mainly for the fact it was affordable with a UK price of £1399 and it was a hex which makes a change from entry level models being quads, finally the promise of obstacle avoidance was exciting, albeit we’d want to see it in action outdoors in the hands of real users to be truly impressed.

Meanwhile DJI didn’t have much to offer other than an Inspire in black, 3DR had no new hardware on show but promoted a new (free) software update for the Solo which has an infinite cablecam.
